'Smoking my dead dad' - Daughter smokes her dad's ashes in honour of his last wish

A woman has honoured her father's dying wish by smoking his ashes and uploaded a video onto YouTube of her doing so. Content creator Rosanna Pansino, 39, paid tribute to her late dad in an unusual way in a new video on her channel.

The YouTuber, who boasts more than 14 million subscribers, shared the moment with viewers during the first instalment of her new podcast show, called 'Rodiculous'. She smoked cannabis that she had grown using her father's ashes.

Rosanna explained that it was her father's final wish before passing away five years ago. In the episode titled 'Smoking my dead dad', she revealed her father died five years ago after being diagnosed with leukaemia six years prior.

The YouTuber described her dad as a "badass" and "quite a little rebel". She added: "And I will be following in his footsteps, like father like daughter, so to start this episode I want to tell you guys about my dad’s dying wish.

"Before he passed, he told me and my mum what he would like us to do with his ashes." She went on to recall how hesitant her mum was initially.

"But as time has gone on and it’s been five years now, we just really think that it’s the right time to do what dad wanted," she said. "To honor him the way he wanted."

Rosanna said that prior to his death, her father told her and her mum to mix his ashes in soil, grow a marijuana plant and smoke it. In a bid to fulfil her father's wish, the 39-year-old became a licensed marijuana grower.

The internet personality uploaded a clip of her smoking onto Instagram. In the caption, she wrote: "We lost my dad about 5 years ago to Leukemia. He was the best. His dying wish was to be grown into a cannabis plant and be smoked.

"So that’s what I did. The first episode of my new podcast is dedicated to him. Link to full podcast episode in bio! Love and miss you every day Papa Pizza."
