Full list of orange and yellow warnings issued by Met Eireann as big freeze makes way for Storm Bert

A slew of weather warnings have been issued by Met Éireann ahead of Storm Bert bringing strong winds and intense rain showers to the country in the coming days.

The national forecaster named Storm Bert on Thursday morning and also issued a Status Yellow wind and rain warning for Ireland before later announcing a separate Status Orange rain warning for three counties.

Storm Bert will displace the current cold Arctic airmass, which brought snow and subzero temperatures to many areas of Ireland, resulting in a number of low temperatures, ice and snow warnings.
