Train tickets to become more expensive from 1 February

Train ticket prices will rise again from 1 February 2025, according to Belgian railway operator SNCB.

SNCB’s board of directors approved new fares that will apply from then on, resulting in an adjustment based on the evolution of the consumer price index, which currently sits at 2.91%.

Regulated fares of tickets (including standard, senior and south) in second class will cost 2.91% and fares for season tickets (standard, flex, half-time and student) will increase by 3.03%.

The price of tickets with non-regulated fares (such as the weekend ticket, Local Multi, Youth Multi and Standard Multi) and SNCB parking fares will also be indexed, increasing by 2.91%.

The SNCB portion of intermodal subscriptions with non-regulated fares (such as City Pass ) will follow the same evolution as the other subscriptions.
