Leaked BBC Strictly spoiler leaves fans fuming as they cry 'I don't understand!'

Another couple is out of Strictly Come Dancing - and it's safe to say that fans are not happy.

The competition was fiercer than ever on Saturday evening, with very little between all of the couples' scores. There were tears, digs, plenty of boos and some questioning about the show from viewers watching at home.

Sadly, one celebrity and their pro partner failed to impress the judges and were kicked out of the competition, narrowly missing out on Blackpool Week. The dance-off is pre-recorded and will air on Sunday night's show, but the result was leaked online and fans were left deeply upset by the surprising exit.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans vented their frustration and declared it a "shame", with one writing: "Worried this was gonna happen!!" While another commented: "I personally don’t like the one they saved. They stomp around, doesn’t have any grace and is not nice to watch.. I’m fuming for who Shirley voted out." A third raged: "It’s wrong that one person’s vote overalls the other three. Either have five judges or they have to discuss as a panel who to choose or to eliminate who scored lowest or something. #StrictlySpoiler @bbcstrictly."

The Strictly result was leaked online

But another wrote: "Both dancers are a bit forgettable, especially the one who left. That said, the one who stayed is terrible and on borrowed time there. They’ll be gone next week after they’ve ‘sung’ at Blackpool. The head judge deciding vote needs to be scrapped though!"

Flying jointly high at the top of the leader board on Saturday night were JB Gill and Lauren Oakley and Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec, who both scored an impressive 37 out of 40. JB's Samba to Mas Que Nada in particular wowed judge Motsi Mabuse, who hailed it as one of the best Sambas among those from Kelvin Fletcher and Danny Mac.

It comes after a difficult week for one professional dancer, Amy Dowden, who was forced to quit the show after pulling out following a health scare. Her celebrity partner, JB Gill, has now been paired up with Lauren Oakley, who is filling in for Amy.

Amy broke down in tears last week on Strictly's spin-off show It Takes Two as she was keen to stress how exit was “nothing to do with any previous health scares ". She was previously diagnosed with cancer in May 2023 and Crohns in 2019.

She confirmed it was her painful foot injury that caused her to pull out of this year's competition. Speaking to Janette Manrara, she said: "I'm absolutely gutted, unfortunately I have an insufficiency stress fracture, if I've said that right, on my shin."

Amy added: "This injury could have happened to anybody. I want to stress it’s nothing to do with any previous health scares." The devastating blow came after she had returned to competing in theBBCshow for its 20th anniversary series after missing out last year while undergoing cancer treatment.

Amy had previously been vocal about her battle with stage three breast cancer, receiving treatments ranging from mastectomy to chemotherapy. Earlier this year, she shared an uplifting update that her tests indicated "no evidence of disease". The inspirational Caerphilly dancer has been candid about her experiences, bringing her cancer fight and living with Crohn’s disease into the spotlight through various BBC documentaries.

The 34-year-old added to Janette: “Hopefully I’ll be back dancing in some capacity, maybe in a group number, by the end of the series.”
