Gary Barlow pokes fun at son's staggering height as they work out together on camera
Gary Barlow has mocked the staggering height difference between him and his son Daniel in a resurfaced clip.
The Take That star's son went viral earlier this week after a picture showed him towering over Gary in a holiday photo. Now a video of the pair working out together has resurfaced also showing the incredible contrast between father and son.
Gary, 53, who is 5ft7" tall stands beside 6ft2" tall Daniel, 24, as they lift weights in the clip with Daniel going shirtless for the content capture. He wrote alongside the post: "There’s nothing I love more than spending time with my kids. Here’s a little video of Dan and me having a Father and Son training session. I’m very proud of my boy and his commitment to his fitness.
"Don’t look at the difference in weights. Don’t notice that I’m stood a little further forward to make the size gap smaller. Lol." Gary also has two daughters, Emily, 22, and Daisy, 15, who he shares with his former dancer wife Dawn Andrews who he married in 2000.

Gary recently admitted another big difference between him and Daniel and his daughters - they seem to have no interest in following in his footsteps. He previously told the Mirror : "The two oldest ones, Daniel and Emily, have kind of gone into medicine and physiology – studying strength and conditioning – and my youngest one, Daisy, I’m not too sure what she’s heading for but again, she’s very studious… unlike me and my wife.

"I don’t think they will follow in my music footsteps but I wouldn’t have discouraged them though if they did want to, it’s been a good business for me. Every day I still enjoy what I do and when you realise you’re making a living from it, it’s a great, great place to be."
Gary discussed his kids while promoting his TV show Gary Barlow's Wine Tour: South Africa, which sees the star travel around South Africa in search of the perfect drop.
The five-parter takes the musician on an unforgettable trip visiting the country’s famous vineyards. He starts off in the Western Cape, where he learns about the variety of grapes in the region, their sustainability, and which dishes pair perfectly with each wine.
It’s been a busy year for Gary, who, as well as filming this new ITV series, has also been juggling the demands of a world tour with his Take That pals Mark Owen and Howard Donald this autumn. “Thankfully, I filmed this before the tour started,” says Gary.

“When I was out in South Africa, during the days when I was travelling for three hours, I’d be listening to my tapes and things, so I knew what I was doing [on tour]. It’s on my mind a lot when we’re about to start one.”
