Mitsotakis meeting with Republican senators in Chania with a focus on the Middle East












On Saturday morning, Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a working breakfast with a group of senators from the Republican party, who participate, among others, in the Committees on Allocation of Resources, Information and Energy of the US Senate, at his home in Chania.






The Minister of National Defense Nikos Dendias also participated in the meeting, while on the American side, Senators Jerry Moran, Susan Collins, John Boozman, John Cornyn, John Hoeven and the US ambassador in Athens, George Tsunis, took part.

The Prime Minister emphasized the initiatives undertaken by Greece and its role in the development of the Vertical Energy Corridor and in Europe's energy security.


They also exchanged views on international and regional issues, with an emphasis on the latest developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East.
