Jack Crowley's practice kicks and 11-second try sum up crazy conditions at Musgrave Park

Jack Crowley's conversion practice ahead of Munster's URC clash with Ospreys highlighted the brutal conditions at Musgrave Park in Cork.

The Munster and Ireland out-half tried kicks from close to the stand, and it was remarkable how wide of the posts he had to aim.

In driving wind and rain, Crowley then watched the ball get carried by the strong wind to curl between the posts.

Munster are looking to respond after a 42-33 loss to Zebre last week, a performance that Donnacha O'Callaghan described as "totally unacceptable" and "embarrassing".

And the Reds couldn't have started any better at Musgrave Park, with Shay McCarthy scoring a try after just 11 seconds.

Ospreys dropped Crowley's kick-off in the dire conditions and McCarthy nipped in to pick up the ball and charge over the line for a surreal start to the match for the home side.
