Govt working to raise minimum pensions above 621 euro

The government is working to raise
minimum pensions above 621 euro, sources said Saturday.

   
In addition to confirming the intervention of 2023-24 that
brought them to 614.77 euros this year, the sources said, the
executive could go further by giving a further increase in
addition to the revaluation with respect to inflation which
should be 1%.

   
Pensions of an amount equal to or lower than the minimum INPS
(pensions and social security agency) treatment (598.61 euros)
were increased by 2.7% in 2024, up to 614.77 euros but this
measure is expiring and must be confirmed so that there is no
going back.

   
But in addition to this there could be a new mini bonus.
