'Significant disruption' to all rail services to and from Heuston Station after 'tragic incident'


Train services leaving Dublin's Hueston station are currently suspended following a 'tragic incident' on Monday afternoon.



The incident occurred on the line between Newbridge and Kildare/Sallins, which is passed by all services leaving the station. Trains were suspended at approximately 2.30pm on Monday and it's believed emergency services are on the scene, reports Cork Beo.

All impacted services are expected to be held in Portlaoise and Heuston stations until further notice. A spokesperson for Irish Rail has confirmed that a 'significant disruption' to schedules is expected.
