The search is on to find Ireland's latest EuroMillions winner, who scooped half-a-million euros in last night's draw.

The lucky player has become the 18th EuroMillions Plus top prize winner of the year so far, after they matched all five numbers in the Friday, September 27 draw. These were were 18, 23, 29, 48 and 50.

They stand to take home a life-changing €500,000, however, as of now, they have yet to come forward.

They revealed that the winning ticket was purchased online by someone in Wexford. A spokesperson said: "A EuroMillions player in Wexford is getting their weekend off to the dream start after scooping the top prize of €500,000 in last night’s EuroMillions Plus draw. The National Lottery has confirmed that a notification and an email has been sent to the Wexford online player. The top prize winner is advised to make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize in Lottery Headquarters."

Meanwhile, the National Lottery’s '4 More Lottery Millionaires' promotion will conclude tonight (September 28) with one player guaranteed to win €1 million in the Lotto Plus Raffle. This marks the final draw in the month-long promotion, which has already seen players in Galway, Leitrim and Mayo each claim a life-changing €1,005,000 top prize from the EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle draws held on September 6, 13 and 20.

Tonight’s Lotto Plus Raffle offers one final opportunity to join the ranks of these new millionaires. Every Lotto player who purchases a ticket with the Lotto Plus option will automatically be entered into the special Lotto Plus Raffle Draw. For each Lotto Plus line purchased, players receive a four-digit Raffle number.

All tickets with the winning Raffle number will win €500. However, in tonight’s draw, there’s an added twist: one of those tickets will be randomly selected to win an additional €1 million on top of the usual €500 prize.

Players hoping to be the next big Raffle winners are reminded that tickets can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or at http://www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.45pm cut-off time for sales this evening.
