Fake sport shoes confiscated in Larnaca

Police have confiscated 450 pairs of sports shoes from the residence of a 31-year-old in Larnaca on the grounds of infringement of intellectual property rights, it announced on Friday.

A search warrant was obtained and the residence was searched on Monday.

Police found and confiscated 450 pairs of sports shoes, which appear to be replicas.

The Customs Department is investigating the case.
