It is not the first time that McGregor's pub has been on the prizes at these awards, winning people's choice for bar of the year in 2023.

The MMA star purchased the establishment in 2020 and between purchase and renovation spent a whopping €2.5m on the venue.

McGregor was not in attendance for the awards night.

However, the UFC was back in Ireland over the weekend as he celebrated his sister's wedding.

The UFC star jetted in for the ceremony last weekend after spending time abroad with his family. The wedding took place at the luxurious Cashel Palace Hotel in Tipperary and McGregor was among the groomsmen for brother-in-law Terry Kavanagh.

It has been reported that the celebrations cost close to €1.5m with Erin and Terry sparing no expense for the big day.

Although security had been tight in and around Cashel on the day of the wedding, it is rumoured that guests were treated to an open bar and locals were warned there would be a firework show from the castle at 10 pm local time.

Erin is also rumoured to have splashed out €100,000 on her wedding dress after jetting off to London for a special fitting.
