Who is Shane Lowry's wife? Meet the woman cheering on Offaly man at Royal Troon

Shane Lowry will be hoping to lift the Claret Jug for a second time this weekend after a brilliant start at The Open on Thursday.

The Offaly man found himself just one shot behind leader Daniel Brown after a bogey free five-under-par round of 66. Cheering him on all the way at Royal Troon over the next few days will be his wife Wendy.

The pair have been together since 2012 and got married in 2016 in New York's City Hall. They have a seven-year-old daughter together named Iris and two-year-old Ivy.

In 2015, they bought a Victorian-style home in South Dublin.

Shane now spends a lot more of his time in the US after years of travelling back and forth to Ireland.

In 2017, the family moved into a rental property in Palm Beach.

The move ultimately proved to be successful as Shane went on to win the Claret Jug in 2019.

After the win, the family bought their home in the affluent area of Jupiter, Florida.

The couple regularly share photos of each other on their social media platforms, with Wendy posting a couple of them enjoying a bottle of wine after Lowry's victory at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans last month alongside Rory McIlroy.
