Ballygiblin man appointed apostolic nuncio in Nigeria

Archbishop Michael Francis Crotty, titular of Lindisfarne and a native of Ballygiblin, Mitchelstown, was this week appointed apostolic nuncio in Nigeria; he formerly held the position of apostolic nuncio in Burkina Faso and Niger. In Church terminology, a
