Euro 24: Abodi calls on Gravina to 'take responsibility'

Sports Minister Andrea Abodi has said
Italian football needs a reset and called on Italian Soccer
Federation (FIGC) President Gabriele Gravina to "take
responsibility" for the national team's poor showing at Euro
2024.

"If someone fails, there must be someone who takes
responsibility for the mistake," Abodi told daily newspaper Il
Foglio.

"The national team has been going through a systemic crisis for
some time.

"The fact that there are balances with the FIGC that penalize
the promotion of talent and competitiveness is also a factor in
this crisis".

When asked about Azzurri boss Luciano Spalletti, Abodi bemoaned
a lack of "harmony between coach and players"
