WATCH: How Valletta telephone box was toppled by delivery truck on Tuesday

New CCTV footage shows how a telephone box in Valletta was toppled over by a delivery truck on Tuesday morning.

The video shows the delivery truck reversing into and toppling over the telephone box, which ended up in a heap of red metal and glass.

Police had said that the driver of the delivery truck remained on site after the accident, while Culture Minister Owen Bonnici has also said that the phone box, which dates back to the British period and which has Grade 2 protection, will be rebuilt and restored.
