Thankfully, there is a tonne of amazing bars and gastropubs littered just a few minutes walk to Lansdowne Road, meaning Swifties who may not know the capital too well will be able to grab a few drinks and walk to the Aviva with no issues. Here are the top bars and gastropubs near the Aviva Stadium:

The Bath Pub

Touted as the “closest pub to the Aviva Stadium” the Bath Pub is a beloved drinking spot for regulars and blow-ins alike for concerts, matches and everything in between.

Situated smack bang in the heart of the Beggar's Bush area on Bath Avenue, the watering hole has a gorgeous south-facing beer garden to get hyped up for Taylor Swift before the show kicks off. As well as offering cocktails served in jam jars, if you are peckish you can sample their menu of pizzas and burgers.

Ryan's Beggar's Bush

If you are looking for an authentic traditional Irish pub to get some merriment going before Taylor Swift and Paramore hit the stage, then the historic Ryan's Beggar's Bush is definitely the spot to head.

Run by the Ryan family for more than 100 years, the spot boasts an extensive whiskey list including their very own Jack Ryan 12-year-old single malt. There is also a heated outdoor area that is opened up on occasion, ideal for soaking up the atmosphere pre-gig. Just a short stroll from the Aviva, this place is a must.

The Oarsman

Situated just a 15-minute walk from the venue, The Oarsman is beloved for its traditional music nights and friendly atmosphere. With its doors open since 1816, this haunt has seen the likes of James Joyce enjoy some whisky in the pub.

Offering revellers some of Dublin’s finest pints of Guinness, ice-cold lager, cocktails, and an interesting range of beers by the bottle or on tap, The Oarsman is a must-see pub for all. Although a small bit further away than the other pubs on this list, The Oarsman is sure to hit the spot.

The Vintage Inn

A short stroll from the Aviva, only 12 minutes, The Vintage Inn is a popular spot for music, drinks, food and getting hyped up before a show at the stadium. Sporting a fabulous beer garden and yard, as well as plenty of seating and cover for all occasions, the Vintage Inn is one of the most beautiful pubs in the city.

With live music being played in the venue most evenings, and fresh food served from the delectable kitchen, stopping into The Vintage Inn prior to a night at Taylor Swift could be just what is needed.

The Old Spot

Only a 10-minute walk from the venue, The Old Spot is the ideal gastropub to hit up if you are feeling a bit peckish prior to the show, but are still looking for a nice atmosphere to get yourself hyped up for a concert.

The award-winning spot offers delicious food, quality wines, select craft beers, bespoke cocktails and great service in a warm and friendly atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for friends to gather prior to ‘shaking it off’ at Taylor Swift later in the evening.

The Merry Cobbler

Located along the Irishtown Road, The Merry Cobbler is beloved for its great food, lovely pints and lively atmosphere. Just a short stroll from the Aviva Stadium, The Merry Cobbler is a great spot for any punters ready to head to Taylor Swift.

Offering a huge selection of beers, gin and wine, as well as mouth-watering grub, The Merry Cobbler boasts a roaring log fire for that authentic Irish pub feeling.

Slattery’s Bar

Only three minutes away from the Aviva Stadium, and just a quick Dart ride from the city centre, Slattery’s Bar is a favourite of anyone who tends to frequent the huge stadium for matches or shows.

Slattery’s Bar has a family history of over 85 years of experience in the business, so you can be sure your service will be above par - and with a delightful menu of drinks poured across five separate bar areas, you can opt for a quiet pint or a bit more fun.

The Bridge 1859

Just a stone's throw away from the Aviva Stadium located in the heart of Ballsbridge, the multi-award-winning bar is one of the cosiest spots in the city and could be the place you and your friends head to before a night of festivities at Taylor Swift.

With a slew of famous owners, the pub is known for its rugby ties, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t the ideal place to spend a few hours before heading to a show. With a stunning selection of food and drinks, patrons can also reserve a bar area if they are in need of some space.
