Katie Taylor fight set to sell out 105,000 seater stadium as ticket details released

Katie Taylor looks set to fight in front of 105,000 fans with her upcoming bout against Amanda Serrano on track to sell out after ticket details were released.

The Bray boxer will return to the ring against her old foe on July 20 and is set do so in front of over 100,000 fans in another milestone in her historic career.

After talks broke down with Chantelle Cameron, Taylor has shifted her focus towards Serrano for their rematch with the two previously meeting in May 2022 at a sold-out Madison Square Garden. The fight will act as co-main event from Jake Paul v Mike Tyson.

Tickets for the highly anticipated professional boxing event will officially go on sale Thursday, May 16 and there has been huge interest with the fight set to be a sell out.

According to Most Valuable Promotions, the opening tickets will be available on Seatgeek.com. In the main event, Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) and Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) will put their professional records on the line in a heavyweight contest.

The event will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, which has a seating capacity of approximately 80,000 and is expandable to accommodate up to 105,000, with standing room for special events and larger gatherings.

For those unable to attend in person, the entire event will be available for live streaming exclusively on Netflix, marking a new venture for the company.

MVP has introduced a range of VIP packages for fans eager to witness the fight live. Among these, the exclusive $2million (€1.86m) MVP Owner’s Experience stands out. This package offers unparalleled access and amenities throughout fight week and on the event night, including two ringside apron seats.

The package includes a pre-fight locker room photo opportunity with Paul and Tyson, boxing gloves signed by both fighters, access to a private green room with a top-shelf open bar and an all-inclusive food menu, and a post-fight in-ring photo opportunity for the group. There are also four first-row floor seats and four second-row floor seats for the event.

MVP has announced that more than 120,000 fans have already signed up for presale access to tickets for the fight. The event is set to be a historic clash of generations as Tyson, at 58 years old, faces his 27-year-old opponent, adding to the intrigue and anticipation.
