Man slips on rainwater puddle, in hospital with critical injuries

A man who slipped in a rainwater puddle suffered critical injuries and was taken to hospital on Thursday morning, the police said.

The accident took place in Orazio Diacono Street, Zejtun, at 7.15am.

The man, aged 39, of Luqa, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Magistrate Joseph Mifsud is leading an inquiry.
