Man critically injured after falling off ladder

A man was critically injured on Wednesday afternoon after he fell off a ladder in a private residence in Xemxija, the police said.

The accident took place in Triq l-Awwista at 4.30pm.

The 76-year-old man, who resides in St Paul’s Bay, fell off the ladder while carrying out some work.

He was taken ti hospital with serious injuries.

Magistrate Joseph Mifsud is leading an inquiry.
