The opportunity to play in a provincial final is on the line as Longford take on Louth in the Leinster Minor Football Championship take place this evening.

Longford finished top of Group 1 after beating Offaly and Dublin in the group stages but were beaten by Laois.

Louth, meanwhile, defeated Wicklow 1-12 to 1-07 in last weekend's quarter-finals. It came after the Wee County finished second in Group 2 thanks to victories over Westmeath and Meath, and a sole defeat to Kildare.

This is Louth's first provincial semi-final at this level since 2021, with the winners of the other last four clash between Kildare and Dublin waiting in the final.

The match is scheduled for a 7pm throw-in at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park and will be shown live on TG4's Youtube Channel.
