Universities coop for bridges of dialogue says Mattarella

Universities must cooperate to build
bridges of dialogue, President Sergio Mattarella said at an
event in New York Monday.

   
The Italian Academy is "a heritage we should be particularly
proud of at a time when collaboration between universities - so
important for building bridges of dialogue and places for free
debate - is being called into question, in the context of
growing international tensions," the president said at at the
Metropolitan Club.

   
"A unique experience awaits the new generations of Italians who
choose to live in the United States. To treasure the privilege
of living between "two worlds and two cultures", being able to
take advantage of that of their homeland and that of their host
country'.
