Public transport strike causes disruption for commuters

A 24-hour national public transport
strike by the USB union on Monday caused significant disruption
for commuters, with Rome and the Naples area among the hardest
hit.

   
Services on the Cumana and Circumflegrea local train lines
around Naples were suspended and there were also reductions on
the Circumvesuviana line.

   
The A line of the Rome metro was closed because of the strike
too.
