Waterford and Tipperary go head-to-head in the Munster Hurling Championship today as both sides play their second game of this year’s competition.

Tipperary will be hoping to pick up their first points of the campaign while Waterford will aim to build on their opening win.

Waterford began their championship with a 2-25 to 1-15 win over Cork at Walsh Park two weeks ago.

Tipperary suffered a heavy loss at the TUS Gaelic Grounds as Limerick hit 2-29 to Tipp’s 0-18 for an emphatic opening win for John Kiely’s side.

Wexford picked up one win in Division 1A of the Allianz Hurling League this year while Tipperary sealed a second-place finish in 1B with three wins from five finishing behind Clare in the table.
