Premier Glavchev: Bulgaria is expected to join the OECD by the end of 2025

For the first time Bulgaria has a specific deadline for joining the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), caretaker Premier Dimitar Glavchev told journalists after a meeting with OECD Secretary-General Mathias Kormann. The two talked on the sidelines of the OECD Ministerial Council Meeting in Paris.

It became clear from the discussion that the horizon for our country's accession to OECD is the end of 2025. A total of 31 reports of the OECD committees on Bulgaria have been adopted, with 26 more remaining. Bulgaria is ready for intensive negotiations, said Premier Glavchev.
