Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker gives major shout-out to RTE Lyric FM, praising 'great hosts'
Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker has said she feels “very fortunate” to Lyric FM’s great hosts – as she wishes the station a happy birthday.
RTE’s Lyric FM celebrated 25 years on air this week and the actress, who owns a holiday home in Co Donegal, revealed she is one of its many fans.
The 59-year-old star also gave a specific shout-out to Weekend Drive presenter, Evelyn Grant.
Taking to Instagram, she said: "Happy 25th birthday to @rtelyricfm!!! To Evelyn Grant and all the great hosts at Lyric, we are very fortunate to have you filling our days with beautiful music.
"Here's to the next 25 musical years."
It comes after last week, Parker shared a screenshot of Lyric FM as she listened to Lyric Through the Night.
She captioned the post: "Nice. I try to remember. Cause it's always so lovely. X, SJ #rtéradio."
The Hollywood star regularly raves about Irish products.
She previously took to social media to rave about Kerrygold butter and also praised the brand on a recent BBC4 podcast, saying that the butter turned food into "heaven", adding, "We are crazy about potatoes and butter."
She and husband Matthew Broderick celebrated last New Year’s Eve in Cill Charthaigh in Donegal before they both began a run in Neil Simon’s Plaza Suite in the West End, London.
