Electric Picnic 2024 line-up revealed with Kylie Minogue and Calvin Harris to headline Laois festival

Electric Picnic organisers have finally revealed the line-up for this summer's event as the festival celebrates its 20th anniversary.

Electric Picnic 2024 will take place at Stradbally Hall in Co Laois from Friday August 16 to Sunday August 18, two weeks earlier than the festival’s usual end of summer slot.

The event, which will have an increased capacity of 75,000 this year, has traditionally been held on the first weekend of September but has been moved to accommodate specific artists.

After a long wait which had some ticketholders questioning whether the event would be going ahead this year, organisers finally revealed the 2024 line-up on Friday.

Headlining this year's festival is legendary pop superstar Kylie Minogue, along with chart-topping DJ Calvin Harris and US singer-songwriter Noah Kahan.

Also on the bill is Irish band Kodaline, English singer Raye and dance music outfit Faithless. Fans can also look forward to sets from singer-songwriter Gerry Cinnamon, legendary rapper Nas, and best-selling artist Teddy Swims.

Plus there is plenty of homegrown talent set to play Electric Picnic this year, including Jazzy, Kneecap, The Scratch, Damien Dempsey - and the Wolfe Tones, who return to Electric Picnic to perform on the Main Stage following the record crowds at Electric Arena last year.

With the revival of her smash hit ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’, Sophie Ellis-Bextor adds a sprinkle of disco pop magic to the weekend, while those looking to dance the night away can head to Terminus to catch Hannah Laing, Skin On Skin and more.

Festival organisers have also confirmed that there are even more announcements to be made ahead of Electric Picnic kicking off in August so keep your eyes peeled for more updates ahead of what promises to be the festival event of the year.

Electric Picnic will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2024, with tickets selling out within an hour of going on sale back in September.

The first ever Electric Picnic was held in 2004 with a capacity of just 15,000 and saw Groove Armada, Super Furry Animals and Grand Master Flash headline what was then a one-day affair.
