Anarchist raid in Rome burns rubbish bins, damages banks

An anarchist raid in Rome Wednesday
burned rubbish bins and damaged banks.

Three rubbish bins were placed in the middle of the road and set
on fire, bank windows were smashed, ATMs were damaged, and
graffiti scrawled for jailed anarchists Alfredo Cospito and Anna
Beniamino during the night in several streets in the Tuscolano
district of the Italian capital.

The police are investigating the matter and an anarchist blitz
is being hypothesised.

A car parked near a glass bell was set on fire and damaged by
the flames. Among the graffiti were "Anna and Alfredo free".
