Scottish Grand National 2024 full race card and tips - list of runners and odds at Ayr on Saturday

Willie Mullins sends a large team to Ayr on Saturday as he aims to win the Scottish Grand National for the first time.

The Closutton maestro is in pole position to be crowned British Champion Trainer for the first time after winning the Grand National at Aintree with I Am Maximus last weekend.

Mullins has at least one runner in each of the eight races at Ayr this afternoon and is expected to have a couple of winners.

However, Inis Orr is strongly fancied to run a big race for Scottish trainer Lucinda Russell in the National, with Sligo jockey Derek Fox on board.

The seven-year-old bolted up by 21 lengths at Musselburgh when last seen in action and this race looks it has been the plan ever since for these shrewd connections.

Mullins is represented by six runners in the £200,000 contest as he aims to go further clear in the trainer's championship, with Paul Townend partnering Spanish Harlem, while Macdermott (Danny Mullins), Mr Incredible (Patrick Mullins), Ontheropes (Brian Hayes), Klarc Kent (Sean O'Keefe) and We’llhavewan (Kieran Callaghan) complete the sextet.
