Fontaines D.C. announce 3Arena Dublin show: Tickets, presale info and everything else you need to know

Irish rockers Fontaines D.C. have announced their biggest hometime show to date, with the band set to play a gig at Dublin's 3Arena in December.

After announcing full details of their highly-anticipated fourth album Romance earlier this week, Fontaines D.C. have today confirmed a new run of UK & Ireland tour dates for 2024.

Kicking off on November 20, the Romance tour sees the band travelling to London, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Cardiff, Plymouth, Wolverhampton, and Nottingham, before returning to Dublin for a final show at the 3Arena on Friday, December 6.

Supporting Fontaines D.C. at their Dublin gig will be English indie rock band Sorry.

The nine-date excursion follows a summer of extensive festival shows for Fontaines D.C. which includes performances at Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, Fuji Rock, Pukkelpop Festival, and more.

The announcement of the Dublin gig follows the news of Fontaines D.C.'s highly-anticipated fourth album, Romance.

Set to be released on August 23 via XL Recordings, Romance is the band’s first album with producer James Ford and is without doubt their most assured, inventive and sonically adventurous record yet.

It’s set to build on the success of the Dublin-made, now London-based band’s acclaimed 2022 album Skinty Fia, which reached number 1 in the UK and Irish album charts and saw the band receiving a host of accolades including “International Group of the Year” at the 2023 BRIT Awards.

When do tickets for Fontaines D.C.'s Dublin gig go on sale?

Tickets for the December 6 gig go on on Friday April 26 at 10am, and will be available on both Ticketmaster and Singular Artists.

Tickets bought through Ticketmaster will be limited to 8 per person, and anyone who exceeds the ticket limit may have any or all of their orders and tickets cancelled without notice by Ticketmaster at its discretion. This includes orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number or other information.

How much do tickets cost?

Tickets are priced from €40.20 subject to fees.

Is there a presale?

Yes, fans can purchase tickets to the Fontaines D.C. 3Arena gig before they go on general sale through the Artist Presale on Ticketmaster, which will run from 10am on Wednesday (April 24) up until 9am on Friday (April 26). Fans must register on the band's official website to gain access to this presale.

Three mobile customers can also buy tickets to the Dublin gig before they go on general sale through the Three+ Presale, which will run from 10 am on Thursday until 9am on Friday.

Fans can also get their hands on tickets through the Spotify Presale, which also runs from 10 am on Thursday until 9am on Friday. Unique pre-sale codes will be sent to Fontaines D.C.'s 'top fans' based to Spotify's streaming data. Spotify will send out a "Fans First" email to top fans of artists, allowing them to receive the presale code. Those who follow the artist's official Spotify page can receive these messages as well.

Is there any other way to buy tickets before they go on general sale?

Fans can also get early access to tickets by signing up the the Singular Artists mailing list here.

Those who have signed up to the Singular Artists mailing list will be able to access tickets on Thursday April 25 at 10am.
