Gardai appeal for information on silver Mercedes after shots fired at Limerick home


Gardaí in Co Limerick are appealing for witnesses following the discharge of a firearm on Saturday evening.



Authorities responded to reports of shots being fired at a residence in Drombanna, a small village in south Limerick, at approximately 9pm that night.



Although no persons were injured during the incident, criminal damage did occur at the property. Gardaí confirmed that investigations into this shooting are ongoing.

Investigating gardaí in Roxboro Garda Station are appealing to any person who may have information concerning this incident to contact them.



A garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: “Any person who was in the Drombanna, Rathurd, Ballyclough, Ballyneety and surrounding areas on Saturday the 23 March, between 8:45pm – 9:15pm and who may have mobile phone or dash cam footage, is asked to make this available to gardaí.



“In particular, gardaí, are looking to speak with anyone who may have seen a silver hatchback Mercedes at any of these locations.



“Any person who may have information or footage is asked to contact Roxboro Garda Station on 061 214 340, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.”
