The world’s biggest and most important pop culture event, Comic-Con, will be held in Hungary again this year: between May 18 and 19, visitors can meet Hollywood stars such as Afshan Azad, Clive Standen, Deep Roy, Erick Avari, Eric Roberts and Jerome Flynn at Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center.
Comic-Con is the best-known pop culture convention, especially for comic book and film fans, which started in the U.S. as Comic-Con International in the 1970s. Every year, the biggest Hollywood film studios and television companies participate with their latest themed films, series and comic books.

The event’s main aim is to bring together fans, creators, actors and artists to share their passion and meet icons of their favorite genres.
According to a press release, Budapest Comic Con was first held in 2022, and since then the event has been growing and evolving, offering visitors an ever-wider range of programs.

The event will offer the opportunity to meet and talk to comic book artists, actors, artists and other creators from home and abroad. The Budapest Comic Con stage will feature interviews, panel discussions, lectures and demonstrations, as well as cosplay competitions and demonstrations, where participants will be able to pay tribute to their favorite characters in unique costumes.

This year’s two-day event will also feature Hollywood stars Afshan Azad, British actor Clive Standen, Deep Roy, Erick Avari, Eric Roberts and Jerome Flynn.
Fans will have the opportunity to take a picture and get an autograph on the spot.
